I’m Kirak Kim.

I’m a PhD student at AIRIS Lab (Applied and Innovative Research for Immersive Sound Lab), KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).

My research interests lie in integrating virtual environments and artificial intelligence to create more immersive experience.

I’m currently working on developing a text-to-RIR (room impulse response) model and applying it to virtual environments.

I love various kinds of music including K-pop. And I'm a novice DJ ;-)
